The Stranger is a character in the TV series "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power". He is an Istari, which is a wizard in Middle-earth. There are only five wizards who come to Middle-earth, each tasked with helping the people of Middle-earth. The Stranger's real name is not mentioned explicitly in the series but it is heavily implied that he is Gandalf.
In the series, he lands in a fiery comet near the wandering Harfoot clan of one Nori Brandyfoot. He quickly befriends the locals but couldn't help hurting them repeatedly with his powerful and uncontrolled magic.
