According to , several characters die in Stranger Things 4, including Chrissy Cunningham, Fred Benson, Agent Harmon, Patrick McKinney, Dr. Brenner, Eddie Munson, Jason Carver, and possibly Dr. Owens and Max Mayfield. Chrissy Cunningham is murdered by Vecna in the first episode. Eddie Munson dies fighting against the demobats in a heroic scene. Dr. Brenner dies in the season 4 finale.
Max Mayfield comes the closest to dying in Stranger Things 4 as she is singled out by Vecna as one of his victims and is haunted with nightmares, headaches and eventually psychic visions of her worst memory of losing Billy .
